Delta Sig Oswego
For more than a century, Delta Sigma Phi has helped young men become better leaders and better citizens.
Brotherhood is a lifetime commitment to living our core values: Culture, Harmony, and Friendship. Our intention is not merely to develop a strong fraternity, but in addition, to challenge our members to make a difference in their communities and their world.
Delta Sigma Phi is about Building Better Students. Better Leaders. Better Citizens. Better Professionals. Better Men.
The Theta Kappa chapter of Delta Sigma Phi was established at the State University of New York at Oswego in 1993. In the years that followed, Delta Sigma Phi has grown to become one of the greatest organizations on campus and in the country.
In Delta Sigma Phi you will meet new people and form lifelong friendships, be active in the community and in school, have a unforgettable college experience, and belong to an active alumni network that’s supportive today and tomorrow.
We invite you to explore and learn more about the men of the Theta Kappa chapter of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.

Since my induction to this organization, I have not only watched myself grow, but I have seen my brothers and the Fraternity as a whole grow into a more prestigious group which has truly redefined the term “Fraternity.” Our brotherhood is united by an honorable common ground, and it is that common ground which outlined by the three ideals of Delta Sigma Phi: culture, harmony and friendship. We may be a vast multitude of people, ranging from scholarly geniuses, to athletic competitors, but each of us are bound by those common ideals which drew us to Delta Sigma Phi. It’s like a set of golf clubs, each one has the common goal of getting the ball into the hole, but each club has its own way of reaching the green, sometimes you need the strength of the driver, the sensitivity of a putter, or the encouragement from a wedge when you find yourself trapped.
My overall goal is to promote the bond of brotherhood, and utilize those unique talents each of the brothers embody, and lead us to better years and overall create memories so when we’re alumni we can always have a place to return to and see the fraternity we once led still flourishing with more quality and brotherhood than what we will leave it with. I believe that Theodore Roosevelt said it best: “A good leader inspires people to have confidence in the leader; a great leader inspires people to have confidence in themselves.”
